A new version of Envibe has just dropped, with new features designed to improve communication with customers, enhance security and provide better reporting capabilities for leisure facility staff.
This time around we’ve also made some design improvements to Envibe’s user interface to improve its look, feel and overall experience.
Site-specific trigger messaging unlocked
You can now more easily include facility or site names in trigger messaging content, allowing for clearer communication when memberships are sold across multiple locations – no more having to create separate templates for each site.
This enhancement allows you to add a text field that is automatically populated with the name of the relevant site when a trigger message goes out to an individual member (“Welcome to [FACILITY NAME HERE]”, for example).
The new text field can be added to a variety of your key member communications, including membership and suspension confirmations, as well as member expiry and direct debit reminders.
New membership-activation trigger message
Knowing that the road to membership activation is paved with good intentions, we’ve created a trigger message to allow you to target new members who have purchased memberships online but failed to activate them at their local facility.
Rather than having to contact them individually, the new trigger message will let you remind this group of members to come in and activate their memberships so they can start enjoying the range of benefits that your facility offers.
Enhanced Courses Module functionality
We’ve updated the Courses Module to give you more control over mobile app warnings. Course instructors can now set their own thresholds for when a student reaches a certain number of attendances for their level, and for when a student hasn’t had an assessment within a specific timeframe.
These customisable alerts help your instructors better track student progress and ensure timely assessments.
Multi-factor authentication security upgrade
The latest version of Envibe introduces multi-factor authentication (MFA) for our Customer Portal, adding an extra layer of security. This new feature makes it more difficult for unauthorised users to access accounts, even if passwords become compromised.
Adding MFA is like upgrading a lock on the door to access user accounts to make two keys required – firstly a user password and secondly a uniquely-generated password provided by Microsoft Authenticator app.
The MFA system works with the Microsoft Authenticator app to provide a one-off password to your users which must be used within a limited time to log into their Customer Portal account.
We understand that different leisure facilities might want to operate different levels of security, so we’ve built in two options for implementing this feature.
You can allow your members to choose whether they want to activate MFA themselves or enforce a blanket requirement for all members if you deem it necessary. Our introduction of MFA offers you different degrees of security to safeguard and protect against unauthorised access and potential misuse of your members’ data.
Improved Ticketing Module reporting
We’ve enhanced the reporting in our Ticketing Module with the addition of a new comprehensive report that can be generated to show all the people who have purchased tickets for an event or session, whether redeemed or not.
This gives crystal-clear visibility of who is coming and provides important information about who might need to be accounted for in case an event is evacuated due to an emergency, as well as providing useful metrics to analyse event-success factors.
The new reporting functionality provides details including the event date, description, and start and end time, plus ticket types, redeemed status and contact details of attendees. Handy filters have been added to make it easier to find event records by searching by date range and other criteria, while easy exporting to Excel supports further data-management and analysis options.
Additionally, when a daily report is run through Booking Module ticketed events for that day will be included. All these reporting improvements give leisure facilities better visibility into their ticketing data, helping them make more informed operational decisions and maintain the best health and safety standard in the event of an emergency.
Contact our friendly Support Team if you’d like to upgrade to Envibe version 904 and take your facility management to the next level.
Rest assured we can set up a test environment before going live so you can give the new version a dry run first, inform your staff of the changes and provide any necessary training so they can make the most of what’s new and improved.
