Making the switch to Envibe has become even easier thanks to the introduction of remote training that helps new customers get the most out of the leisure management platform.

Software experts Jonas Leisure developed a remote training option at the start of this year for staff at new Envibe sites who are involved in setting up pricing, courses, bookable spaces and other back-end processes. That remote training has now also been made available to reception staff, program coordinators and others who use the system on a daily basis but do not need to configure anything behind the scenes.

“Having the flexibility to do your training remotely and at times that fit around your existing workload makes it easier than ever before to make the change to Envibe,” said Jonas Leisure Professional Services Consultant Hannah Donohoe.

“Some organisations are hesitant to move to a new system that would offer large benefits purely because they are worried about the process involved in training staff. We’re aware of this concern and have designed our training to ensure it’s enjoyable, easy to do, and gives new users the knowledge they need to utilise the full functionality Envibe offers.”

The training was tailored to the needs of individual users and covered everything new users needed, whether it was membership management and payment processing or managing group fitness classes, leagues and swim schools, she said.

The new training has been well received by customers responsible for managing leisure facilities on either sides of the Tasman. Central Otago District Council has recently made the shift to Envibe in New Zealand, while the City of Melville and City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder have changed over in Western Australia.

For Kalgoorlie-Boulder, remote training was particularly valuable. The council has recently introduced Envibe to manage leisure at its multi award winning Goldfields Oasis gym, sports and aquatic complex. In the past multiple systems were used to manage the centre’s creche, swim school, memberships and lead tracking, but the shift to Envibe means all facets of the operation can now be managed from one software platform.

Program Manager Elzandi Nicholls said the onboarding training provided by Jonas Leisure had been quick and easy, allowing staff to schedule each session in around their existing workload.

“The training sessions were pretty interactive which means by the end of the session I could jump into Envibe and make any necessary changes without needing much assistance from Jonas Leisure. The manuals are also very comprehensive.”

The transition to Envibe had been “smooth” and the support provided by Jonas Leisure’s customer service team has been “excellent”, she said.

The Envibe training provided by Jonas Leisure is delivered over a series of weekly workshops and broken down into modules, designed around the customer requires. All training is supported by ‘how to’ Powerpoints and helpful training manuals, which include Frequently Asked Questions covering common queries.

Envibe is the premium leisure club software for the Australasian leisure, recreation and aquatic industry. It integrates with modern technology such as iPads and touchscreen devices and provides valuable business insights that can be used to drive improvement across your business.
