As the warm rays of summer beckon, many people are gearing up to get in shape for the season of sun.
To help bring them through the doors of your gym, leisure centre or aquatic facility, we’ve unveiled a fresh enhancement to Envibe’s member promotions toolkit that makes it easy to create and manage powerful promotions to incentivise new members.
What has changed?
The latest version of Envibe includes a new promotions feature that lets you offer free or trial periods at the beginning of new memberships that will be paid via direct debit. This gives new members a try-before-they-buy opportunity to explore what your facility has to offer. The ability to waive upfront payments can be a powerful motivator for individuals hesitant about committing to a new fitness regime or gym membership.
In addition to free trial periods, the new feature allows facilities to offer discounts on membership fees being paid by annual payment or direct debit, providing another way to entice new members. By reducing joining fees and sweetening the deal, facilities can make the decision to sign up even easier, especially in the current challenging economic climate.
The flexibility of the new promotions enhancement allows you to precisely configure promotions according to the strategic business approach you want to take. Promotional offers can be set to run continuously, or for a finite time period, allowing for targeted campaigns to coincide with the lead up to summer or other seasonal fitness peaks. Offering a promotion with a declared end date can create a sense of urgency via FOMO (fear of missing out), encouraging potential members to act quickly.
At present this new feature is only supported via the Interactions sign-up process through Envibe. However, the Jonas Leisure team are busy beavering away behind the scenes to activate Membership Promotion Enhancements for online membership sales – watch this space for further updates!
